AKA: Pappom, Pomillon, and the Papillon Pomeranian Hybridpaperanian

Description: The Paperanian is a cross between the Papillion and Pomeranian. They possess both breed’s appearance. Body is long and well built. They are small in size, has thick long coat all over their body except on their face which is regulary hairy but not too long. They have round dark eyes,and ears are carried high.

Temperament: They are a very playful, friendly dog. They are very energetic too like other pets. They use to seek attention with humans especially with their owner. They are very smart and obedient  dog therefore, they are easy to train so their owner wouldn’t find hard time teaching them some commends and tasks to do. They could also be considered as pet dog that is because they are a sweet, affectionate and loyal.

Activity: Like all other breeds, they are required to have daily long walk and jog. They are an outgoing breed. They always love to play games outdoors.

Health: Like the Pomeranian breed, they are also prone to some canine desease. Life span is around 12-16 years.

Grooming: Proper daily brushing would keep their coat smooth and soft and to prevent tangles. Clean their ears and eyes to keep away from infections. Bathe them only when necessary.

Color: Black& white, brown and white

Height: 7-12″

Weight: 4-10 lbs.

Country Of Origin: United States

Dynamics: Paperanian breed was believed to be originated in United States back in 1950’s although there hasn’t been really any scientific proof about that. They are being loved by most families taking care of them as they are a friendly pet dog and a perfect human companion.

Pomeranian

AKA: Zwergspitz, Dwarf Spitz ,Loulou , PomPomeranian

Description: The Pomeranian is a small, elegant, attractive breed that has a fuzzy long coat. They have a bright, almond-shaped, dark eyes  with an intelligent expression. Their nose is dark or like the color of its coat. Teeth meet in scissors bite. Tail that is feathery that fans forward. there are a lot of a collar like around its neck as well as on the chest area.

Temperament: This breed is a very intelligent, lively, very loyal dog to its owner. If properly socialized, they could get adjust to its environment and gets along well with other dogs and household animals as well. They are so small in size that made them hesitate to attack other dogs. They are also a good watchdog creating an an alarm through their bark because they are inclined to be aloof to a stranger. They have also an attitude to be demanding. Moreover, they are alert, curious and busy. Considered as a very independent among toy breeds. They can get along well with older children. And a good companion too for elderly, are picky eaters. Smart,happy dogs, easy to train. Its liveliness  makes them attract other people who do not usually care for toy dogs.

Activity: The Pomeranian is good for apartment living. They need a daily walk and playing that serves as their exercise. Very active indoors.

Grooming: The Pom’s double coat should be brushed always from head, parting the coat and brush forward so it will look neat and fluffy. They shed once or twice per year. Dry shampoo them and clean their eyes and ears everyday and have them a regular dental check ups. This breed is a constant shedder.

Health Problems: Life span is around 12-16 years. There are a number of health problems for this breed: cataracts, PRA, low blood sugar, entropion, luxating patella, PDA, collapsing trachea, and allergies.
