Description: Mongrel comes in various size and shapes. They come in different breeds. So their appearance also varies.

Temperament:
Their traits and characteristics will also depend as to what their parents do possess. It may be guard dog, herders, hunters or any combination of traits. As long as you know how to train them and deal with every traits they possess and what is important is you also know how to deal with them like in socialization trainings and teach them good manners and let them understand that you are their owner and leader.

Activity: Required to have daily exercise, walking, or jog to be more healthy and not develop bad behaviors.

Health: This varies depending on the breeds they came from. But usually they are more healthy compared to pure breed dogs.

Grooming: Also depends on their appearance and breed. But generally occasional brushing of hair and bathe when only necessary.

Weight: varies on the breed of their parents.
Country Of Origin: dogs first originated in Eurasia

Dynamics:
This Mixed breed dogs known as vira-lata in Brazil and Dominican Republic. There are some of them who doesn’t have an owner and only feeds in streets, or on trashcans. But they also have talent when it comes to sports like flyball, frisbee and many others.

cairnoodleAKA: Cairn-Poo

Description: This is not a pure breed dog they are crossed between Cairn Terrier and Poodle. They are an agile and high spirited. Since they are a mixed breed, their looks is also a combination of the two breeds like their coat which is somewhat curly and others are slightly wavy, very thin and short all over their body and coat is longer on their face. They show a hardy appearance with dark and large eyes and broad head.

Temperament: This cross bred is loyal and friendly, also affectionate. They acquired the boldness of a terrier as well as the sensitivity of a poodle but others are a mix of both traits. They are also very sociable especially with children and other non-canine pets. But they its not good for them to be left alone for a longer period of time because they demand full attention. Moreover, They should be engaged in a lot of activities to lessen or avoid making them feel bored and lonely so they wouldn’t become destructive. Another is that they are an alert dog, they bark when there are some suspicious strangers.

Activity: They could live in an apartment should be exercised like playing in a secured open yard and also a secured leash when taken to a walk. In indoors, they should have a safe toys for them to enjoy their play.

Grooming: They should be bathed regulary with a mild shampoo and be brushed a lot of times in a week to make them feel good and to prevent tangle and matting. Dental hygiene is also important for them to protect their teeth from early loss.

Health Problems: They are prone to such health issues as PRA, luxating patella, heart problems, portal shunt, and CMO.

Also, They could be calm but not to some suspicious strangers;they bark to announce it. And they are not hard to groom it will only take some simple basic steps.

Afollie

Description: It is a cross between the Afghan Hound and the Collie. The undercoat is compact and wooly, the outer coat is straight, tough, long, and rough. They have a little of a chinky eyes. and their color is usually dark with white accent. Their ears are carried especially when they are alert. They get along well with children, household pets and other dogs.

Temperament: Afollie is is a cheerful, gentle, lovable, proud dog. They are always interested to learn things and also independent and active. They belong to the family and not for outdoors. They have no tendency to run away instead,they stay close to their owners.

Activity: They needed a long walk regularly. This breed usually performs well in obedience trainings and agility competitions

Grooming: They require a good grooming. Their hair must be brushed regularly to avoid tangles. Always keep the inside of the ears clean for proper hygiene. The hair of Afollie is parted on their back.

Health Problems: eye defect, thyroid problems and skin problems. Life span is about 10-12 years.

Breed Group: Designer group

Color: black, blue, slate-colored, reddish-brown, all shades of grey with white markings on the nose, chest, legs, and feet or neck. The white markings are not permitted beyond the shoulder

Height: 53 – 56cm (20 ¾ – 22in) for dogs and 51 – 53cm (20 – 20 ¾ in) for bitches

Weight: varies on its height

Dynamics: They are an intelligent dog and always ready to learn, loves to play and very sociable, calm.

Afador

Afador

Description: The Afador are is a cross between the Afghan Hound and the Labrador Retriever. They have a very long, fine coat. The hair on the face is short. Any color is accepted They have an average height and weight. Has a very long, smooth, fine coat, hair in their face is short. They have variety of colors,but the most common colors are red through to shades of beige and often they have dark mask.

Temperament: This breed is a responsible, spirited and noble dog. It is in their blood to run after into anything that runs or moves quickly. Their breed is strong and brave, alert, not noisy and careful with strangers. The males could control them. They are a loud barkers that could alarm their homes for some suspicious strangers. As long as they are not being harassed ,They could get along well with children especially with older ones. Generally they are an independent breed thus, its not always easy to train them since they could never be completely independent.

Activity: They need a lot of exercise everyday. Bicycling with the dog every day will be best, but do not forget their hunting instinct. Only allow them to run freely off their leash in a safe area.

Grooming: Their coat needs a full grooming twice a week. You could combine their hair from the skin outwards to prevent tangles but take extra care not to break their hair and keep their ears clean for proper hygiene.

Health Problems: low pain tolerance, thereby suffering even with minor injuries and also Prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, PRA and eye disorders. Life span is about 10-12 years

Dynamics: They are an independent, a genius breed. Very calm indoors but fast and active outdoors. They are proud, alert and could be an effective watchdog. By instinct, they will chase anything that moves quickly.
