Ours we got from a breeder. She had bred her black lab dam with a GSP on another farm. Midnight produced a litter of 6 black and 3 brown/liver pups. Buster is now 6 yrs and 3 mos old. He requires a lot of walking and loves the outdoors. He definitely gets very "birdie" when out on walks and will attempt to chase prey. He is very strong, loyal and a very smart and loving dog. I would recommend his hybrid to any person

NAID are not related to any reservation Indian dog that is a descendant of the original now extinct aboriginal american dogs.
They certainly do not live 19 years either. 19 years ago they did not exist. They are reported to be a recreation of native dogs but no such thing is really possible since the originals were isolated for thousands of years. R.K. Wayne, formost canid geneticist has discovered that no known population of modern dogs have the unique genetic markers that are found in the archeological record. Karen Markel was extremely rude to my family and invented her breed the same day wolf hybrids were made illegal in her state.

We just learned that our AKC Golden Retriever is actually an Afghan Retriever. She is gorgeous but we knew that she was not the same as our other Goldens. She has long layered hair on her ears, slanted eyes, a rougher & straighter coat and a skinny rat tail with very little hair on it. She is a beautiful golden color with longer hair on her legs and paws. She is a designer dog and we love her just as much as our true Goldens.

Owning a pet can be one of the most satisfying and joyful experiences which can get owners out of the house, taking pleasure in the benefits of physical exercise and interacting with innovative people. It is vital not to take on this delicately though. Dog teaching is a necessary part of having a happy dog that reacts well. Taking on a rescue pet needs more dedication as unwanted behaviours might need to be trained too.

We breed Japanese spitz. They are quite unusual and they are a wonderful breed and are greet watch dogs. Before I got into the breed I heard they were brilliant for people with asthma and allergies but I thought it was just some breeder scamming us into buying their dogs. But my brother is allergic to lots of dog hair but has never had a reaction to any of our dogs but yet reacts to every other breed of dog he has come in contact with whilst shedding and he even reacts to some dogs that are non-shed! The japanese spitz have a (I don't really know how to explain it...) rather unique coat and things such as mud and dirt just... Well crumble off. My sons Nathaniel, Alastair and Elliot were born 9 weeks premature and all suffer very bad asthma and whilst staying with family they had several asthma attacks and Alastair ended up being hospitalised and the doctor said it was down to dog hair and we never had these problems at home with our dogs. I would highly reccommend this breed to anyone looking for a good companion, watch dog and they make great family pets (mother of 5 kids and 5 Japanese spitz)

I didn't realize people actually bred German Sort-hairs with Choc. Labs. Our was a happy accident. She is the best, most loving and intelligent dog I have ever owned. She is wonderful with kids and other dogs. She has been a great addition to our family.

I think the dog we got from the pound is a Lab/Pointer mix. At first glance, you say "chocolate Lab," but Strider's got a tiny spot of white on his chest and white spots on the heels of both front feet. His tail is lighter and more golden than the rest of his body, and he has the rare/occasional single white hair throughout his coat. He looks quite a lot like the dog pictured on this page. He's a natural hunter, ranges like a pointer and fetches like a retriever. I've seen him point once or twice as well, but it seems more accidental than anything else. He's quite the gentleman, great with kids, clever and very willing to do as asked, and a great rat-killer, too... Just the best "pound puppy" I could've hoped for! If he is truly an example of this cross, I would highly recommend!
