Dorset Olde Tyme BulldoggeDescription: The Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge is a medium-sized dog with the traditional appearance of a bulldog, though it has a stronger and bigger physique than the Bulldog. Its body is compact and stocky, with a well-boned and muscular structure. The chest is wide and the back is short. The forelegs are straight, set apart from each other, and the hind legs are broad with strong thighs. The feet are broad and the toes are tight, with thick tough pads. The Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge has a gait that exudes power and heaviness.

The Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge’s head is strong and massive, with the forehead dominating the face. It is furrowed with loose and wrinkled skin on the throat and cheeks. It has a broad muzzle, with folds, with the nose on top of it.The ears are set high on the head

Dynamics: The Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge is a flexible and loyal dog, able to fit into any lifestyle of its owner. It is very eager to please its family and is protective. Country of Origin: The Dorset Old Tyme Bulldogge originates in England, where the breeding program began in the late 1980s by Steve Barnett.

Activities: The Dorset Old Tyme Bulldogge can handle any amount of exercise but also likes to rest. A daily walk will be enough to keep the breed fit and healthy.

Grooming: The Dorset Old Tyme Bulldogge coat will be cared for enough with a daily wipe using a damp cloth of a soft brush. This is to ensure that the wrinkles are free of any dirt or stains.

Dogue de BordeauxAKA: French Mastiff, Bordeaux Bulldog

Description: The Dogue de Bordeaux is a mastiff breed that is short, stocky, and muscular. Its head is a distinctive feature, with an undershot and powerful jaw, and a distinguishable black or red mask around and under the nose, lips, and eye rims. The nostrils are very open and the upper lips hang thickly down over the lower jaw. The ears naturally hang down. There is a dewlap on the neck. The thick skin is loose. The front legs are straight and the tail is straight, curving when the dog is excited.

Dynamics: The Dogue de Bordeaux has a calm and gentle personality, although originally it was considered ferocious. It is a brave and loyal companion, and is patient and devoted to its family. It is gentle with children and other family members. It makes a wonderful watchdog and guard dog.

The Dogue de Bordeaux can be aggressive with other dogs. It has to be socialized and trained firmly from an early age. Male Dogue de Bordeaux generally does not tolerate other male dogs.

Activities: The Dogue de Bordeaux needs a lot of exercise as it has a huge amount of energy within. This breed has served man throughout history as a war dog, flock guardian, dog fighter, cattle driver, watch dog, and guard dog.

Grooming: The Dogue de Bordeaux’s coat does not need that much attention. An occasional combing and brushing is enough.

Other Info: The Dogue de Bordeaux has a life expectancy of 10 to 12 years. It is generally a healthy breed, although litters are small and birth is difficult because of the puppies’ large heads. The Dogue de Bordeaux will be fine living in an apartment as long as it is sufficiently exercised.

Description: This is a graceful breed  with good body built, muscular and has good structure with broad chest. Their body is long and tail set straight on their back and has a perfect shoulders.  Their body coat is short and is shiny,smooth and not thick. The Head is very strong and square in shape, considered one of their best asset, and is described as “a box on a box” by the aussie bulldog breeders. This breed is known to have wrinkles in 3 folds across their nose and has large dark brown eyes set wide apart with an alert expression. Usually for females, a nice long body is important to produce good whelpers. Jaw is wide in structure which is most preferred for this breed,and square. Aussie Bulldog comes in variety of colors red, apricot,mahogany,fawn,white they also comes in an arrangement of patches on their body with white as base color.

Temperament: They very sociable kind of breed, could get along well with children.  Also, they could be good watch dog but not as guard dog. They are loyal to their owner also affectionate and fun-loving dog. so they could be trained to be an obedient dog since they could be rough & noisy that would cause bad behavior but above all, they are an ideal pet dog.

Activity: They enjoy outdoors like frisbee, swimming and like to play with ball. It is recommended for them to have daily walk but not too much exercise.

Grooming:
This breed is an average shedder. They are easy to groom with their short silky coat. A firm bristle brush would be good for them when combed. This breed should be bathed only when needed. Wipe their face daily to clean inside their wrinkles.

Health Problems: Proper care is a must for them to keep them away from a illness.

Banter Bulldogge

Banter BulldoggeDescription: Powerfully built, athletic, and muscular, the Banter Bulldogge is a strong working dog with a bully build. Its head is square and muscular, with a pronounced stop between the skull and muzzle. The top of the skull is mostly flat. The Banter Bulldogge possesses strong jaws and impressive canines. Its bite should be slight under bite. It has round almond eyes set with a wrinkled brow.

The neck of the Banter Bulldogge is well-muscled and thick. The chest is impressive and meets well with the elbows; it should appear square. The back has a slight arch and finishes with a high set tail. The shoulders are powerful and the front legs are muscular. The Banter Bulldogge’s legs stubby or lanky, rather they are muscular, made for strong bouncing leaps and great pulling power. The feet of the Banter Bulldogge should be compact and with strong pasterns. As to the coat, is it short and smooth. The Banter Bulldogge also has short ears that may be cropped.

Dynamics: The Banter Bulldogge is easy to train and is very obedient. It will make for a good watchdog and has a good bark, helping with raising an alarm in case of trespassers.

When properly socialized, the Banter Bulldogge is fine with other dogs. It will get along very well with children and is very loyal to its family. The Banter Bulldogge has a lower energy level indoors than outdoors, and needs a good walk outside from time to time. This dog is eager for play time but it is smart to know when play time is over.

Weight: males 50-85 pounds (26-37 kg), females 50-75 pounds (26-34 kg)

Height: males 21-24 inches (54-60 cm), females 20-23 inches (51-54 cm)

Color: Fawn, black, red, brindle of all types, with or without black mask; all colors can be with minimal white (up to 30%)

Country of Origin: The Banter Bulldogge was developed by Todd Tripp of Southeast Ohio in the late 1990s. With the inspiration to recreate the Brabanter Bullenbesser of the 1700s, Tripp combined boxers and various other working bull breeds to create the Banter Bulldogge.

Activities: Banter Bulldogges need daily work or exercise to keep fit and healthy. They also enjoy fetch games and other plays.

Other Info: The Banter Bulldogge has a life expectancy of about 12-13 years. It can be raised in an apartment as long as it can have its daily workouts or exercises. Bathe only when necessary to avoid removing natural oils from the skin. Brush its coat from time to time to remove excess hair.

Bulldog

BulldogDescription: The Bulldog is a small, wide, and compact dog with a massive head. The head is broad and it has cheeks that extend to the sides of the eyes. The skin on the skull and forehead falls in dense folds. The muzzle is short and pug. The eyes are dark, round and far apart. The ears are small and thin and folded. The nose is broad and black, with large nostrils. The upper lip is pendent, and the lower jaw is undershot.

The Bulldog carries its short tail low. It walks in some kind of a waddle because its stocky legs are set squarely at each corner of its body.

Dynamics: The Bulldog is actually a gentle dog despite its mean-looking face. It is very affectionate, and is gentle with children. This breed seeks out human attention, and is happy when it gets it. The Bulldog is also known for its courage and its excellent guarding abilities. It is good with family pets too, although some can be suspicious with strange dogs.

The Bulldog can be stubborn and persistent at times. It can be dominating and it will need an owner who can display strong leadership. It is full of energy, but as it grows older it will be less agile. This breed snore very loudly, and some have drool and slobber tendencies.

Weight: males 53-55 lbs (24-25 kg), females 49-51 lbs (22-23 kg)

Height: about 12-16 inches (31-40 cm)… shorter ones are more prized

Color:The Bulldog’s coat comes in red, fawn, brindle, pale yellow or washed-out red, or white, and can combine any of these colors. The muzzle is sometimes dark.

Country of Origin: The Bulldog originated from England, descended from the ancient Asiatic mastiff.

Activities: Adult Bulldogs may or may not want to take any exercises, as their liveliness gradually fades with age. But all Bulldogs still need to have daily walks because of their innate fondness to walk.

Grooming: Grooming the Bulldog is easy because its coat is short and smooth. Comb and brush with a bristle brush and bathe only when necessary. Be sure to clean the inside of the wrinkles by wiping its face with a damp cloth.

Other Info: The Bulldog’s life expectancy is an average of 8 years. It is prone to breathing problems; some may have small windpipes. It is also prone to having poor eyesight. It is susceptible to heat stroke in warm weather and places. It is also cold sensitive. Skin infections, hip and knee problems may also be a problem. Its digestive system is also active, and may not bode well with people with sensitive noses. The Bulldog is good for apartment life. It is an indoor dog and is not really active indoors. This breed does best in temperate climates.
