Description: The German Wirehaired Pointer breed is a ruggedly looking dog, with a flat, rough undercoat. Also, their tail is docked. They are deep chested but a very strong breed, muscular, firm and has good posture.

Temperament: This breed is a very loving, loyal, athletic and smart dog. They always show interest to learn things being taught and trained to them as long as their owner has enough patience and knows how to train properly. They enjoy working for their owner. They could also be harsh to strangers and friendly to those people they are familiar with. They must undergo socialization training at an early age for them to learn to adjust with the people around them. They are a very active dog and always full of energy. The muzzle is squared at the end. The jaws are powerful, forming a scissors bite. The nose is brown, and the eyes are just a shade darker than its coat (yellow or black eye are not preferred). The ears are proportionately long and hanging.

The neck is muscular and arched, without a dewlap. The chest is broad and deep. The front legs are straight, while the hind legs are moderately angled by the thighs. The feet are catlike. The tail is thick, carried horizontally when moving.

The Hungarian Wire-haired Pointing Dog’s hair varies in length. On the head, the hair is short and rough. There is longer hair on the muzzle, forming a beard. The eyebrows are pronounced by slightly long hair. Longer and finer hair is also present on the ears. Hair is also longer on the body. Hair on the forelimbs are short and rough.

Grooming: The wire-haired coat of the Hungarian Wire-haired Pointing Dog is rough and hard. It needs to be brushed with a bristle brush. Dry shampoo occasionally. Keep the nails clipped.

Description: The English Toy Spaniel is a perfect toy dog, small with regular length hair, and has firm built. They have short, black nose like that of a pug. Their head is shaped like a dome . Its head is well rounded in shape, as well as their dark eyes expressing their affection to their owner. They have rounded long hairy ears set low near their head. Their muzzle is short, have square and wide jaw, bite is moderately undershot not showing its teeth. Tail is docked and carried just level on its back. Coat is soft, shiny and plumy all over their body, that come in various colors.

Temperament: This breed has a very sweet temperament. They are a loving pet dog, intelligent and very sweet. They are a very quite companion kind of dog and a medium barker therefore not suitable to be a guard or watch dog since they are very friendly and polite towards strangers. They don’t need much socialization training since they are considered everybody’s pet dog. Playful, affectionate and loves to be with everybody but sometimes has bad attitudes too. They are loyal to their owner too. And would choose to be with them always. They love children and other dogs as well. In some unforeseen ways, you’d just be surprise that they could show off and entertain people.

Activity: They are required to have daily walk to lead them away to behavioral problems and increase their energy and be healthy. Also, they would enjoy playing and frolic around in a wide but safe area.

Health: They are prone to respiratory ailments, heart disease , slipped stifle, eye problems and ear infections. Ears and eyes should be kept clean always to avoid infection. Their life span is about 10-12 years.

Grooming: They only require less grooming as long as they should be brushed well to prevent mats and tangles especially on their ears,eyes and feet. This breed is not a heavy shedder.

Description: English Setter breed are slim and fine look. Coat is flat with a little feathering in either long or short length. There are two types of this breed: The Hunting type which has short length coat and the Show type that has long length coat. They have different spotted coat colors known as belton that comes in blue, orange or tri-colors. Their head is long and proportion to their body, eyes are big, nose is dark colored and tail set high especially when they are alert. Muzzle is square in shape with skull oval shaped and medium in size.

Temperament: They are considered gentle in nature, friendly very affectionate too but could also be stubborn and harmful at times. They needed a lot of activity because they are very playful and full of energy always. They needed to be given enough attention by their owner for them not to feel bored. French Pointing Dog

Description: The English Cocker Spaniel is breed that has a strong compact and fit built with a smart expression. They could be classify into two types the working cocker and the show cocker. They have dark eyes and their ears are set long and lobular also hairy. Its tail is docked too. The upper portion of their skull is set parallel to their muzzle, Hair is regularly long,and has a hairy rounded and body, with its rounded legs as well. The preferred color for nose is black. Jaws are firm and scissors bite and has wide strong chest. They also come in different solid colors.

Temperament: A smart breed, but could also be bullheaded at times. They are considered as pet dog. They are easy to train,known to be friendly, affectionate and intelligent and especially very faithful to its owner. They too are a very playful dog so they enjoy being with children, not harmful since they are lovable and pet dog. They are an obedient dog and do not bark a lot so it is not irritating to the ears especially at night. The nose is black or liver, with respect to its coat color. The ears are hanging flat against its head. The eyes are a dark brown or hazel, and the teeth meet in a scissors bite. The body consists of a deep chest and a squarely strong short back. The tail is normally hung low, but can be raised when the Flat-Coated Retriever is excited or alert.

Dynamics: The Flat-Coated Retriever has a stable, calm, and friendly temperament. It is sweet and playful, gentle and cheerful. It is excellent with children and welcomes guests with affection. It also gets along with other dogs and pets. It is very sociable.

Deutscher Wachtelhund

German SpanielDescription: The Deutshcer Wachtelhund is a medium-sized dog with a long, thick, and wavy coat. Its body is muscular and solid. The whole body is twice as long as its height. Its distinctive feature is its ears; they are fairly long and can reach half way to the tip of the nose.

Dynamics: The Deutscher Wachtelhund has vibrant and friendly personality. It is a loyal dog and needs lots of attention from its owner and family. At the same time it is an aggressive hunter. It was bred to be an exceptionally versatile gun dog, excelling in tracking and trailing large game. It is an intelligent breed, brave and determined in its work. It also loves water work.
