Description: Markiesje breed has a balanced body. They are very attractive, a head turner dog, especially their feathering and soft and shiny coat. Also, Their ears are long, a pendant like.

Temperament: This breed likes to be a gundog. They are attractive, a very smart dog and very playful that made them an ideal pet dog. Also, they are an elegant looking dog and a friend of everybody. But of course they too needed a good training to be more obedient, sociable and responsible dog.

Activity: They needed to have a good amount of exercise like other dogs to maintain their energy and good behavior. And for them to be more healthy.

Health: No known health issues for this breed.

Grooming: They just needed to be brushed on regular basis to prevent tangles also, check and clean teeth, ears and eyes to prevent infections.

Dutch Smoushond

Dutch SmoushondDescription: The Dutch Smoushond is a medium-sized dog with double coat of rugged wiry hair. It has small dark eyes, and black nose and lips. Long hair forms a beard, mustache, and eyebrows on its face. The ears are set high and triangular in shape. The muzzle is long and the jaws form an even yet slightly scissors bite.

The body of the Dutch Smoushond is proportional and well-balanced. Its legs are firm, straight, and well-muscled, with small round and catlike feet. The back of the legs are only thinly covered with hair.

Dynamics: The Dutch Smoushond is a charming dog with a friendly disposition. It can be reserved with strangers but it becomes very cheerful and loving with his family and friends. It is skillful and intelligent, and obedient to its owner. It is very eager to please and sensitive. Training the Dutch Smoushond has to be consistent but not harsh. This breed gets along very well with children and other household pets.

Other Info: The Dutch Smoushond has a life expectancy of 12-15 years. This breed will be fine living in the city or apartment as long as it is sufficiently exercised. It is actually recommended that the Dutch Smoushond live indoors.

Dutch Shepherd Dog

Dutch Shepherd DogDescription: There are three varieties of the Dutch Shepherd: the long-haired, the short-haired, and the wire-haired. The short-haired variety, with a fine and dense coat, is very common, the wire-haired one, with medium length hair that is wiry, less so. The long-haired variety, with long straight and harsh hair, is very rare.

The body of the Dutch Shepherd Dog is muscular and symmetrical. It has dark slanting eyes and ears that stand erect on its head. It has a long muzzle and the strong teeth forms a scissors bite. The tail is slightly curved. The feet are small, and there are no dewclaws.

Dynamics: The Dutch Shepherd Dog is an affectionate dog with a sweet and playful disposition. It is very friendly, loving, and highly energetic. It is a very happy dog, and very intelligent. It gets along well with children and with other dogs and animals. It is reserved and suspicious of strangers. It is easy to train and very eager to learn, which makes it an active and enthusiastic worker.

Drentse PatrijshondDescription: The Drentse Patrijshond is a well-balanced hunting dog, bred with a hunting insitinct. It has short to medium length hair, with the body, ears, tail, and the back of the legs possessing longer hair. The nose is black, and the eyes are a dark hazel or brown. The ears hang down, and the tail is carried high or curved when the dog is alert or excited.

Dynamics: The Drentse Patrijshond is agile and fast on the hunting field. Despite that it is a calm and sweet tempered dog. It tends to be more relaxed at home, but it is also a work-driven breed. It is loyal, protective, and devoted to its family. It becomes very attached to its family, and is sweet and excellent with children.
