It has a short coat, which adds more emphasis on its muscular and well-boned physique. It has a slight stop and its muzzle is tapering. Its nose and lips are black, and its almond-shaped eyes. The ears are set high on the head, standing upright with the tips folding forward. Its tail is docked. The Japanese Terrier’s most distinctive feature is that its head is completely covered in black.

Dynamics: The Japanese Terrier is a cheerful dog and has a lively temperament.

Color: The Japanese Terrier is tricolor, with majority of the coat white. The most common color for the patches is black. It is the head that is wholly covered in black.

Japanese Spitz

japanese_spitzDescription: The Japanese Spitz is a thick and long-haired dog that has its pure white long hair as its distinctive feature. Its whole body is covered with long hair, except on the bottom half of its legs. There are only breeches on the hind legs and feathering on the forelegs.

The ears of the Japanese Spitz are small and stand upright. The muzzle tapers slightly. The large oval eyes are dark and are almond-shaped. The nose and lips are black.

Dynamics: The Japanese Spitz is a very spirited and playful breed. It is always alert, and obedient to its owner. It is also fearless and intelligent. It makes a good watchdog. Training should be consistent, but generally the Japanese Spitz is easy to train as it learns quickly.

The Japanese Spitz is very good with children, and can get along with other dogs and household pets. It like so play, especially with balls and Frisbees. Its affectionate temperament is very evident. But it is also protective of its owner and family and can act as a guardian. It gets suspicious of strangers and will bark at people unless it knows them.

Country of Origin: There is no solid information as to the origins of the Japanese Spitz, although it was claimed to have been descended from the Siberian Samoyed. The creation of the Japanese Spitz started in the late 1800s and became popular in Japan in the 1950s.

Activities: The Japanese Spitz loves to play and needs a daily walk. This breed is mostly used as a companion dog, but it can also be a watchdog and guard dog.

Grooming: Combing and brushing the Japanese Spitz should be done everyday. Bathe only when necessary. Remove loose hair from the under layer by using a comb with a double row of teeth.

Other Info: The Japanese Spitz has a life expectancy of 12 years. This breed will be fine living in an apartment as long as it is taken outdoors form time to time.

Description: Golden Retrievers are considered a very attractive breed. From their coat that is shiny and soft to touch, feathery and regular in length. The outer portion of its coat is water proofed and compact. They are a very strong breed. They are deep chested,has broad head. Their gait is strong and powerful. Their eyes are brown in color thjat has a very friendly expression and the nose comes in black. Teeth are in scissors bite. Their ears are like pendant clinging below their jaw regular in size. And has long straight tail.

Temperament: Golden retrievers are a very fun-loving,smart, obedient dog. They have a great appeal that almost everybody loves. They are easy to train that would not be very difficult for their owner to train them. When it comes to socialization, They are very friendly dog they love to play with children and they are safe with them because of their being so gentle and sweet kind of dog. They are very known for their obedience attitude. They may too be a good guard dog as they would bark loud to alarm when they detect some strangers around their territory. They like to be with great leadership people because they are a very active dog. They also posses some great skills in retrieving, hunting and they could easily detect drugs when trained.

Activity: They are very much required to have daily walk and a long brisk walking and jog. Also, they like to play with retrieving balls. They also love to swim and do some tricks when they are being trained.

Health: They could suffer from health issues like: cancer, hip dysplasia and congenital eye defects. Also skin allergies are very known to this breed. Their life span is about 10- 12 years.

Grooming: They are just an average shedder. They have soft and shiny hair so it is always easy to groom. Comb and brush them with firm bristle brush and dry shampoo and bathe only when it is needed.

Giant Schnauzer

Description: The Giant Schnauzer is a big, very strong breed. Their undercoat is soft and dense. Their weight and height is proportioned. Their neck is curved but is strong and they have long head about half of its back. Its nose is black in color and big with a dark brown eyes oval in shape. Have strong jaws in scissors bite, tail is docked and front legs are similar and flat straight.

Temperament: This breed is a genius one and very flexible. They are working dog therefore they are already used to working hard for their family. That is why they are responsible enough, a very faithful andaffectionate. They are attached to their owner. When it comes to training, their owner should be very keen in dealing with them since they intelligent enough to learn things quick. They should also undergo socialization training in an early age so they could get along well with other pets and especially with children and people in their surroundings. Generally they are considered great pets. They possess the best obedience attitude but in hunting, they could not be a good companion since they could be bulheaded

Activity: They are very much required to have a good amount of daily exercise and a daily brisk walk too.

Health: Health problems includes: Autoimmune diseases,Epilepsy, Hip dysplasia, Incontinence, Toe Cancer. Their Life span is 12-15 years

Grooming: daily combing is required of them since they have compact undercoat . Also, ears should be cleansed to avoid infection and hair around the area of their eyes and ears should be trimmed down too.

Description: Giant Maso mastiff is a large type of breed with a square shaped head and rectangular muzzle. They have brown eyes that is small, on their neck they have folded skin up to their chest. They are a strong, muscular dog that has strong legs with rounded feet. Their short coat is silky, soft and shiny.

Temperament: A giant dog that is very loving and has an affectionate and friendly expression. They consider their family always their first priority and they long for attention. They could also socialize well with children and with other pets as well. They are an obedient dog especially during trainings. An intelligent dog. They could also be a good guard dog but not as alert as compared to other dogs. They could just bark to alarm.

Activity: A regular exercise is required for them and a daily regular walk too to help them gain back their energy and be healthy.

Health: No known health issue for this breed. Their life expectancy is about 10-12 years.

Grooming: They have a short shiny hair so its just easy to groom. Bathe them only when necessary.
